Chimichanga Cheesy Burrito!
Greetings from Casa Dos Gatos. Hope all is well at the North Place. Hopefully I can get back up there one more time before we close. Maybe just to throw a few, before the weather closes out. We’ll see. Beers Of The World in Hoagland this week. It’s a little fuzzy, but I’m getting used to it. Here you are-
Beers Of The World from Crabsville USA tonite. Fantastic looking crowd. They started early and didn’t let up. If you’ve never been to the Three Kings, it’s like Crab Racing Overload. Lots and lots going on and it’s easy to lose track of the Crabs. Luckily, we’re Professionals, so we know what we’re doing. As far as we know. When I lean out the back door from my DJ’s perch, there’s a steady light rain falling. Not very much, and it actually feels nice in the heat. There is also a huge, huge tent in the field across the road, behind the Hoagland Volunteer Fire Department. The thing has got to be a good two-hundred feet by one-hundred feet. Not sure what to make of it. I’ll have to get back to you.
A few familiar faces. Lots of new faces as well (or maybe that’s just the “fuzzy” kickin’ in). Anyway, I’m pretty sure this is the way the evening went-

Time:
It’s not about time in Hoagland
A very raucous time in Crabsville tonite. The Absolutely Fabulous Sarah rides #46, the Fastest Crab In The World, to his sixth in a row. That sets the longest First Place run for the year. That Crab is a Monster. #71 is the Phil Mickleson of Crab Racing. He’d have a lot more wins if he hadn’t had the misfortune of racing against #46. Another Second Place for him. #0 takes Third. He’s unranked, but if he gets in the right Bucket, he can get to the Finals. And The Crabby Old Farts make the trek from Mayberry and end up with a Hearty Wave. Well Done!
As far as the tent goes. I stepped outside between races and heard a serious tuba solo. It appears the local Deutsche Verein is beating the rush and having their Oktoberfest a month early. That is one big ass tent. Well done as well!
Sonny and the Amazing Racing Crabs will return to Hoagland, Home Of The Three Kings, on October 10th. I really suggest you put it on your calendar, these people know how to Race.
Ciao for nao
